Terrific combination of energising high acidity and creamy texture, the oak rounding out the wine but not giving it an oaky flavour. Broad in the mouth but fresh and tightly wound on the finish, with a chewy finish that suggests this would be food-friendly even though it is quite aromatic on the mid palate and could be drunk on its own.
